1. Better Chance (4th - 9th grade; 3/1 & 4/30)
For 60 years, A Better Chance has placed high-performing students of color into the nation’s leadership pipeline through increased access to the nation’s top independent and public schools.
2. Breakthrough NY (6th; 1/27)
Breakthrough New York empowers motivated students from low-income backgrounds to graduate from college and pursue a fulfilling career. They makes a ten-year commitment to support students to and through college.
3. John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth
The Center for Talented Youth has been a nonprofit committed to nurturing extraordinary young minds since 1979. They serve bright learners and their families through our renowned programs, research, counseling services, and advocacy.
4. Oliver Scholars (4th & 7th; Sept. - Feb.)
5. TEAK Fellowship (6th; 1/25)
The TEAK Fellowship is a free NYC-based program that helps talented students achieve their potential. Through intensive after school and summer classes, TEAK prepares middle school students to get into the nation’s most selective high schools and colleges.
6. The Wight Foundation (7th & below)
The Wight Foundation provides opportunities for talented students from the Greater Newark, New Jersey vicinity to achieve academic success and personal development in a college preparatory boarding school environment, with the intent to nurture future leaders who socially impact their local communities.
